As a Solutions Delivery Architect, you will be the architecture lead for our most critical projects or services. A technologist at heart, you are passionate about planning and building compelling services and products. You will be responsible for working with customers to understand their network monitoring needs, which will lead you to mapping out an innovative solution design for the customers with maximum OpenNMS benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work in a partnership with our sales, product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • You are comfortable working with specialist engineers, business leaders, marketing, and product managers.
  • You will assist sales reps in offering product solutions that solve business needs and overcome challenges. You may build proof of concept (POC) solutions for customer evaluations as part of the sales engagement process.
  • You will assist prospects during the product evaluation cycle by responding to technical queries via email.
  • You will troubleshoot with developers and provide online remote assistance to solve moderately complex pre-sales support problems.

Technical Skills:

  • A great attitude with a hunger for problem solving and collaboration.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Must have excellent problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies required.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • A strong mix of technical ability, sales and customer interaction skills are required.
  • Proven experience in Requirements Definition and Management, Solution Architecture, and Systems Integration.
  • Exposure to adjacent technology domains such as other platforms, networks, and cyber security.
  • Prior experience in a similar pre-sales or technical role within a software vendor or a preferred partner/systems integrator.
  • Experience working with global service integrators (GSI) and managed service providers (MSP) is preferred.
  • BS/BA or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5 years’ experience working with Network, Monitoring, Data and Cloud technologies are required.
