We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Sr. QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality, performance, and security of cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Work within a Lean Software Development framework to translate business requirements into test cases.
- Contribute to automation test framework to support all aspects of Quality Assurance, including the execution of test plans to perform both functional and non-functional testing.
- Perform manual test execution to verify software implementation meets the business requirements
- Install builds into test environments and help troubleshoot issues in test environments
- Troubleshoot automated test failures that run as a part of the Continuous Integration process.
- Document bugs and issues with enough details to reproduce the item and verify the issue has been resolved after it has been fixed.
- Deliver estimates in collaboration with the feature team and stakeholders.
- Identify and report defects with the lightweight approach of a Kanban Board
- Provide technical leadership as a Subject Matter Expert in software testing methodologies, and test automation.
- Research and collaborate with their engineering team on continuous improvement initiatives
Professional Qualities/Skills
Technical Skills:
- Fluent in at least one object-oriented programming language like .NET/C#
- Intermediate knowledge in usage of a source control system like Git
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and XML
- Intermediate knowledge of test automation framework (one or more of Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Robot, etc.)
- Experience with automation using webdriver.io, specflow and cucumber preferred
Soft Skills:
- A highly motivated individual is able to understand complex software and learn quickly.
